About Dr. Satish Chandra Chhabra

Dr. Satish Chandra Chhabra is a pioneering nephrologist who established the first dialysis unit in East Delhi in 1993, significantly advancing nephrology in the region in collaboration with the East Delhi Indian Medical Association (EDIMA) and East Delhi Physicians Association (EDPA). In 2005, he joined Max Hospital Patparganj, where he established the Nephrology Department and initiated transplant services in 2010. Currently, Dr. Chhabra heads the Nephrology departments at Max Hospitals in Patparganj and Vaishali, focusing on Total Renal Care. Dr. Chhabra’s extensive work experience includes 11 years of teaching and clinical work at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, and 11 years at Max Healthcare. He has served as a Consultant Nephrologist at Shanti Mukand Hospital and Noida Medicare Centre, a Professor of Nephrology at Dayanand Medical College, and a Senior Lecturer in Nephrology.
