Dr. Pooja Babbar

Dr. Pooja Babbar is a highly accomplished and compassionate Medical Oncologist at Fortis Hospital, Manesar, Gurgaon. She has over 15 years of experience in providing advanced, personalized cancer care. Moreover, she is known for combining clinical expertise with empathy to deliver evidence-based treatment and long-term support to her patients.

She previously served as a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the American Oncology Institute, Gurgaon, where she managed complex cancer cases using evidence-based protocols. She also worked with The Onco Clinic, contributing to comprehensive, patient-focused cancer care. In addition, since June 20, 2022, she has been associated with CK Birla Hospital, Gurgaon as a Consultant in Medical Oncology. Dr. Babbar completed her MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, followed by MD in Radiation Oncology and Senior Residency at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Later, she earned her DM in Medical Oncology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, where she was a Gold Medalist. Furthermore, she received the European Certification in Medical Oncology from ESMO in 2021, which strengthened her international recognition in the field.

She also holds a Diploma in Medico-Legal Education and an MBA in Hospital Management. Therefore, she brings a strong understanding of patient rights, medical ethics, and healthcare administration to her clinical practice. Her areas of expertise include chemotherapy, targeted therapy, precision oncology, immunotherapy, and the management of solid tumours and hematological cancers.
