Dr. Hemant Gandhi

Dr. Hemant Gandhi is an accomplished Interventional Cardiologist with over 15 years of clinical experience, currently serving as Additional Director of Cardiology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon. He completed his MBBS and MD in Medicine from Motilal Nehru Medical College and went on to pursue DM in Cardiology from the esteemed PGIMER and Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi — being the first DM Cardiology graduate from the institute. Dr. Gandhi has a strong academic foundation and has contributed extensively to medical education, training postgraduate students and authoring numerous papers in reputed Indian and international journals.

Dr. Gandhi specializes in a wide spectrum of interventional cardiac procedures including complex coronary interventions, transradial angiography and angioplasty, balloon mitral valvuloplasty, and peripheral angioplasty. He has vast expertise in implanting pacemakers (single/dual chamber), AICDs, and biventricular devices (CRT-P/CRT-D), and also performs device closures for congenital heart defects like ASD and PDA. His advanced skills and patient-first approach have earned him a stellar reputation among peers and patients alike. He is also proficient in managing high-risk cardiac emergencies and critical care interventions.

Throughout his career, Dr. Gandhi has been associated with several reputed hospitals including Artemis, Rockland, and QRG Central Hospital.
