Dr. Hemant Gandhi

Dr. Hemant Gandhi is the Director of Cardiology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurgaon, and is also available for consultation at Fortis Hospital, Manesar, Gurgaon. He is a highly experienced Interventional Cardiologist with over 15 years of clinical experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiovascular diseases.

He completed his MBBS and MD in Medicine from Motilal Nehru Medical College, Prayagraj. Later, he earned his DM in Cardiology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. Moreover, he was the first DM (Cardiology) graduate from the prestigious PGIMER and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi.

Dr. Gandhi specializes in complex coronary interventions and minimally invasive cardiac procedures. In addition, he has extensive expertise in transradial coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty, permanent pacemaker implantation, AICD implantation, cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT-P and CRT-D), balloon valvuloplasty, and peripheral angiography and angioplasty. He also performs device closure procedures for congenital heart defects, including atrial septal defect (ASD) and patent ductus arteriosus (PDA).

Furthermore, Dr. Gandhi has served at several renowned hospitals across India. Besides his clinical practice, he has actively trained medical students in cardiology and contributed extensively to medical research. As a result, he has authored numerous publications in Indian and international peer-reviewed journals. He is widely recognized for providing ethical, evidence-based, and patient-centred cardiac care.
