Dr. (Col) Joy Dev Mukherji

Dr. Joy Dev Mukherji is a highly accomplished neurologist with over 31 years of extensive experience in the field. He currently serves as the Chairman and Head of Neurology at Max Hospital, Saket West. His medical journey began with an MBBS (Gold Medal) from Sambalpur University in 1983. Subsequently, he earned his MD in General Medicine from Bangalore University in 1990. He then pursued his DM in Neurology from PGI, Chandigarh, in 1995. An FRCP from Edinburgh also adds to his impressive credentials. He served in the Armed Forces Medical Services for 23 years before joining Max Healthcare in 2006. Furthermore, he received special training for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis in Switzerland. Therefore, his training and credentials are truly world-class.

Additionally, Dr. Mukherji has a distinguished career with numerous achievements. Senior teaching faculty member at Army Research and Referral Hospital, Delhi, was one of his key roles. Several research projects under AFMRC have been carried out by him. Numerous talks in various parts of the country and abroad have been delivered by him. Moreover, many international and national publications are credited to his name. He specializes in Multiple Sclerosis, Movement Disorders, Stroke Evaluation and Management, Headache, and Critical Care Neurology.
