Dr. Anupama Gonjhu

Dr. Anupama Gonjhu is an Associate Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Fortis Hospital, Manesar, Gurgaon. She has over 11 years of experience in women’s healthcare. Moreover, she is known for providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centred care.

She completed her MBBS from MIMS and her DGO from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute and Vani Vilas Hospital, Bengaluru. Later, she earned her DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from NDMC. In addition, she completed a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) from the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India and obtained Basic Endoscopy Certification from the Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Delhi (AOGD). As a result, she has developed advanced expertise in high-risk pregnancy management and minimally invasive gynaecological procedures.

Dr. Gonjhu specializes in high-risk pregnancies, fertility evaluation, family planning, preventive gynaecology, and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. Furthermore, she has performed more than 10,000 deliveries and over 1,000 gynaecological surgeries. She is also extensively trained in water birthing and focuses on providing a safe and comfortable childbirth experience.

Before joining Fortis Hospital, Manesar, Dr. Gonjhu worked at several renowned hospitals, including Bangalore Medical College, Hindu Rao Hospital, Apollo Cradle, Cloudnine Hospital, Columbia Asia Hospital, Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Max Hospital, and CK Birla Hospital. Besides her clinical practice, she actively participates in national conferences, workshops, and academic research. Therefore, she is widely respected for her surgical expertise, academic contributions, and dedication to women’s health.
