Dr. Anil Saxena

Dr. Anil Saxena is a highly distinguished Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist with over 35 years of extensive experience. He currently serves as the Chairman of Cardiology at Fortis Okhla. His academic journey began with an MBBS from Kanpur University in 1982, followed by an MD in Medicine from the same institution in 1985. He then earned his DNB in Cardiology from the National Board of Examination in 1993. Since joining Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in 1989, he has been actively involved in setting up the department of Cardiac Electrophysiology. Pioneering work in ICD and biventricular pacemaker implantation in India has been done by him. He also has one of the largest experiences in this field. Additionally, Dr. Saxena has been performing electrophysiological studies and Radio Frequency Catheter Ablation for complex cardiac arrhythmias for over 25 years, with thousands of successful procedures to his credit.
