Dr. Aditya Aggarwal is a highly skilled plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgeon with more than 28 years of clinical experience. He currently serves as Vice Chairman at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram. He has built strong expertise in cosmetic surgery and complex reconstructive procedures. In particular, he focuses on facial reconstruction, breast reconstruction after cancer surgery, and advanced microsurgical techniques. Moreover, he has contributed significantly to the development of hand and reconstructive microsurgery in India.
He established the Centre of Excellence in Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in 2008. Since then, he has managed complex trauma cases and limb replantation surgeries with advanced precision. He trained at premier institutes such as IMS BHU, Varanasi, and KGMC Lucknow. In addition, he completed international fellowships in Taiwan, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Germany. These global exposures helped him adopt modern surgical techniques and refine his clinical approach.
Dr. Aggarwal also plays an active role in academic leadership. He served as President of the Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (IAAPS) from 2023 to 2024.
