About The Doctor
- Prior to returning to India and founding one of the first autonomous Departments of Vascular Surgery in 1990, Dr. Rajiv Parakh completed his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom in 1986. In addition to being a life member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, he founded the Vascular Society of India, the Endo-vascular Intervention Society of India, and both organizations. In 2007, he was chosen to serve as the International Society for Vascular Surgery’s secretary in New York, USA. started the first government-recognized vascular surgery teaching program (N.B.E).
