  • Dr. V. K. Jain is a distinguished neurosurgeon and spine surgeon with extensive experience and expertise. He currently serves as the Senior Director of Neurosurgery and Spine Surgery at Max Hospitals in Delhi and NCR. Dr. Jain completed his MBBS from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow in 1974, followed by a master’s degree in neurosurgery from the National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore in 1981.

    With a career spanning decades, Dr. Jain has held prominent roles at prestigious institutes both in India and abroad. He played a pivotal role in establishing and elevating the neurosurgery department at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. He later chaired the Department of Neurosurgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, before assuming his current position at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket in 2012.

    Dr. Jain’s contributions extend beyond clinical practice; he has trained numerous neurosurgeons and served as a visiting professor at universities abroad. He is a prolific researcher and has presented papers at national and international conferences, with publications in esteemed journals. Additionally, Dr. Jain is actively involved in medical education, serving as an examiner and participating in scientific programs worldwide.
