Dr. Viveka Kumar is a highly accomplished cardiologist with over 27 years of extensive experience in the field. He currently serves as the Chairman of Cardiology at Max Hospital, Saket. His expertise lies in Cardiac Interventions and Electrophysiology. More than 50,000 cardiac interventions have been performed by him throughout his career. These include complex PCIs, Rota, IVL, LMCA stenting, and multi-vessel PCIs. He has also completed over 7,500 angioplasties with excellent outcomes. Furthermore, he has performed over 2,500 balloon valvotomies with good results. His medical journey began with an MBBS and MD from Banaras Hindu University. Subsequently, he earned his DM in Cardiology from LPS Institute of Cardiology, Kanpur.
