Dr. Viney Jetley is a highly experienced Interventional Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist with over 28 years of extensive experience. He currently serves as the Director of Invasive Cardiology and Electrophysiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi. His academic journey began with an MBBS from the University of Pune in 1984. He then earned his MD in General Medicine from the same university in 1991. Subsequently, he pursued his DNB in Cardiology from PGIMER, Chandigarh, in 1998. He has also performed more than 10,000 interventional procedures at various hospitals all over India. Therefore, his training and credentials are truly world-class.
He has the expertise to carry out all kinds of Invasive Cardiac Procedures. These include Angiography, Stenting, Rotablation, and device implantation. Electrophysiology and Radiofrequency Ablation are also performed by him. Additionally, he has performed numerous paediatric cardiac catheterizations and interventions. The Interventional Electrophysiology programme in the armed forces was pioneered by him. More than 1000 radiofrequency ablations have been performed by him.
