About Dr. Vinay Goyal
Dr. Vinay Goyal is a highly experienced neurologist with more than 34 years of clinical and academic experience. He currently serves as Chairman of Neurology at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram. He is known for his expertise in stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and movement disorders. In addition, he has managed many complex neurological cases during his career. As a result, he is widely regarded as a senior expert in neurology.
He completed his MBBS and MD in General Medicine from RNT Medical College, Udaipur. After that, he completed DM in Neurology from AIIMS, New Delhi. Furthermore, he joined AIIMS as Senior Resident in 1999. Later, he became Professor in the same department. Therefore, he has strong academic and clinical experience from one of India’s top institutes.
He has published more than 350 research papers in national and international journals. Moreover, he has contributed actively to neurological research and education. He has also served as President of the Movement Disorders Society of India. In addition, he has held key positions in several neurological associations.
