Dr. Vikas Singla

Dr. Vikas Singla is a highly accomplished gastroenterologist with over 17 years of extensive experience in the field. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman & Head of Gastroenterology (Pancreatic-Biliary, Luminal Gastroenterology & Endoscopy Division) at Max Hospital, Saket. His medical journey began with an MBBS from SPMC, Bikaner, in 2002. Subsequently, he earned his MD in Medicine from AIIMS in 2005. He then pursued his DM in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from AIIMS in 2009. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Consultant in Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital from 2011 to 2021. He is recognized as a highly skillful endoscopist. Furthermore, he pioneered third space endoscopy in North India. Therefore, his training and credentials are truly world-class.

Additionally, Dr. Singla specializes in Pancreatic and Biliary Disorders, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Early GI Cancers, and Functional GI Disorders. He performs advanced endoscopic procedures including Therapeutic EUS and ERCP, Endoscopic treatment of obesity, POEM for Achalasia Cardia, and ESD for early GI cancers and large polyps. More than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals are credited to his name. Multiple awards at national and international conferences have been won by him. Moreover, he serves as a member of the editorial board of various national and international journals. He is an active member of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India, and the Indian Association for Study of Liver Diseases.
