Dr. Vikas Kohli

Dr. Vikas Kohli is a renowned Pediatric Cardiologist with over 34 years of medical experience, including 30 years specializing in pediatric heart care. He completed his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, followed by MD in Pediatrics from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He further trained in Pediatric Residency at Montefiore Medical Center, New York, and completed his Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Miami. Dr. Kohli has practiced extensively in the USA and India, performing groundbreaking procedures such as Flow Restrictor Implantation in the Pulmonary Artery (first in India), balloon angioplasty in a 1.3 kg infant, and stent placement in a 1.8 kg child. He is the founder of the Delhi Child Heart Center at BLK Hospital, a specialized outpatient facility for pediatric cardiology services.

Dr. Kohli’s core expertise includes fetal cardiology, neonatal and preterm interventions, interventional cardiology, and advanced echocardiography. He is highly regarded for his empathetic approach, providing detailed counselling to parents about prognosis, lifestyle, and long-term care of children with cardiac conditions. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology and holds Diplomate status from the American Board of Pediatrics & Pediatric Cardiology.
