Dr. Vijay Kumar Chopra

Dr. Vijay Kumar Chopra is a highly distinguished cardiologist with over 47 years of extensive experience in the field. He currently serves as a Senior Director at Max Hospital, Saket. His medical journey began at PGI, Chandigarh, where he completed his MBBS, MD in Medicine, and DM in Cardiology. He then worked as a Junior Resident, Resident, and Senior Resident at the same institution. Subsequently, he served as Senior Consultant in Cardiology at Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, from 1979 to 2005. He then joined Escorts Heart Institute as Principal Consultant from 2005 to 2009. Thereafter, he served as Director of the Heart Failure Program at Medanta – The Medicity from 2009 to 2019. Therefore, his training and credentials are truly world-class.

Additionally, Dr. Chopra has made significant contributions to the field of cardiology. He served as the Founder President of the Heart Failure Association of India in 2013.
