Dr. Vidya Gupta

Dr. Vidya Gupta is a senior consultant in Neonatology with over 30 years of experience in pediatric care. She holds esteemed qualifications including MBBS, MRCP, FRCP (Glasg), and FRCPCH (UK), and has received advanced training in the UK. Dr. Gupta has worked at Batra Hospital (1986–1995) and has been associated with Apollo Indraprastha Hospital for more than two decades. Known for her compassionate care and clinical excellence, she played a pioneering role in establishing one of the first tertiary-level neonatal units in Delhi. Her areas of expertise include newborn critical care, pediatric physical therapy, thyroid and congenital disorders, and child developmental issues. She is fluent in both Hindi and English, allowing her to communicate effectively with a diverse patient base.

Dr. Gupta is a life member of the National Neonatology Forum and the Indian Association of Paediatrics. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Glasgow) and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK). Over the years, she has been honored with several awards, including Best State Coordinator at the World Congress of Dermatology (2017) and first prize in a national debate on leprosy. She is also a recognized DNB teacher and an active member of various national pediatric forums.
