Dr. Vedant Kabra

Dr. Vedant Kabra is a distinguished surgical oncologist with over 26 years of experience, currently serving as the principal director of surgical oncology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon. He has performed more than 12,000 cancer surgeries and is highly skilled in managing complex cases involving breast, gastrointestinal, and gynecologic cancers. He also specializes in robotic cancer surgery. Dr. Kabra received his oncology training from two of the most prestigious centers—Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai and the National Cancer Centre in Singapore.

Apart from clinical practice, Dr. Kabra has made significant contributions in academics and research. He has presented his work at various national and international medical conferences and authored several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. He has also served as a tutor for the MCh course in breast oncoplasty at the University of East Anglia, UK. Throughout his career, he has received multiple awards, including the University Gold Medal from Banaras Hindu University and the Best Research Paper Award at the ASI Conference.

Dr. Kabra is actively involved in cancer awareness and prevention programs. He regularly conducts health talks, self-examination camps, and community awareness drives. He is also leading the Voice of Tobacco Victims (VoTV) movement in Gurugram and Haryana, aiming to reduce tobacco consumption and promote early cancer detection. Through his clinical excellence, academic contributions, and public health efforts, Dr. Kabra continues to make a meaningful impact in the field of oncology.
