Dr. Vaneet Parmar

Dr. Vaneet Parmar is a distinguished pediatrician with over 20 years of experience in managing a wide spectrum of pediatric conditions. He currently serves as the Director of Paediatrics at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon. Dr. Parmar completed his MBBS from Maharshi Dayanand University and earned his MD in Pediatrics from Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. He further pursued specialized training in Pediatric Nutrition from Boston University, enhancing his expertise in child health and development. Prior to Fortis, he served at Privat Hospital and W Pratiksha Hospital, establishing himself as a compassionate and trusted name among parents.

Dr. Parmar has been deeply involved in academic medicine since 1997, actively teaching MBBS and MD students and organizing seminars and symposia for postgraduate education. His areas of clinical interest include pediatric nutrition, growth and development, respiratory illnesses, infectious diseases, and neonatal care. One of his most notable achievements includes the successful resuscitation of a rare case of Ectopia Cordis—a life-threatening congenital condition—published in an international medical journal. His dedication to pediatric care is reflected in both his clinical acumen and academic involvement.

Dr. Parmar is the current President of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP), Gurgaon Chapter (2021–2022), and is also a member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Medical Council of India (MCI). Through a patient-centered approach and evidence-based practice, he continues to be a leading figure in pediatric medicine, ensuring quality care for children across all age groups.
