About Dr. Tejinder Kataria
Tejinder Kataria is a highly renowned Radiation Oncologist with more than 35 years of extensive clinical experience. Currently, she serves as Chairperson of Radiation Oncology at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram. She is widely recognized for introducing advanced radiation technologies in India. In fact, she pioneered the use of VMAT-based linear accelerator systems in the country. Moreover, she established North India’s first integrated brachytherapy unit. As a result, cancer care delivery became more precise and effective.
In addition, Dr. Kataria has played a key role in developing modern radiation oncology departments in leading hospitals. She has worked at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Artemis Health Institute. Furthermore, she helped establish the Radiation Oncology division at Medanta. Her clinical approach focuses on precision, safety, and organ preservation. Therefore, patients receive advanced, targeted cancer treatments with reduced side effects. She also actively promotes image-guided and stereotactic radiation techniques.
