Dr. T S Kler is a Padma Bhushan awardee and Chairman & HOD at BLK-Max Heart & Vascular Institute, New Delhi (Rajendra Place). He is a leading cardiologist with 47+ years of experience in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. Moreover, he is widely recognized for managing complex heart rhythm disorders. In addition, he has performed over 35,000 angioplasties, including coronary, renal, carotid, and peripheral procedures. Therefore, he is regarded as one of India’s most experienced heart specialists.
Furthermore, Dr. Kler is a pioneer in electrophysiology in India. He established the first dedicated electrophysiology department in the country. In fact, he was the first doctor in India to implant ICD, CRT-P, and CRT-D devices. Later, he introduced HIS Bundle Pacing in 2015. As a result, cardiac rhythm management in India reached new standards. He has also trained more than 300 doctors across India and abroad. In addition, he contributed to developing advanced cardiac programs in multiple countries.
