Dr. Sushant Srivastava is a renowned cardio-vascular surgeon with over 30 years of experience, including 28 years as a specialist. He is well-respected for his expertise in complex vascular procedures involving the aorta, carotid arteries, and lower limb vessels. Dr. Srivastava is also highly skilled in performing single, double, and triple valve repairs and replacements, as well as beating heart bypass surgeries. His exceptional skill gained national attention when he successfully performed bypass surgery on a 96-year-old patient, believed to be the oldest recipient of this procedure in India. With nearly 10,000 cases to his credit, Dr. Srivastava has made significant contributions to the field of cardiac surgery.
He completed his M.Ch. in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery from the prestigious AIIMS in New Delhi in 1994 and served as an Assistant Professor there until 1998. During his tenure at AIIMS, he was actively involved in the Heart Transplant and Ventricular Assist Device Program, contributing to the first heart transplant in India. His training also included pediatric cardiac surgery, further broadening his surgical capabilities.
