Dr. Suman Karanth Gupta

Dr. Suman Karanth Gupta is an accomplished medical oncologist with over 10 years of experience in the field of oncology. Currently serving as Additional Director at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, she brings a wealth of international experience to her role. Before joining Fortis, she was associated with Christie Hospital in Manchester, UK – one of Europe’s largest and most advanced cancer centers – where she worked as a Consultant Medical Oncologist. During her tenure there, she completed a Clinical Research Fellowship in Gynaecological Oncology and was actively involved in multiple phase 1–3 clinical trials as a sub-investigator. She also completed a clinical observership at the Intestinal Failure Unit at Salford Royal Hospital, UK, where she gained specialized experience in managing malignant bowel obstruction through optimized parenteral nutrition.

Dr. Suman’s core expertise lies in the treatment of gynecologic cancers, neuro-oncology, and colorectal malignancies. She is particularly known for her patient-centric approach, placing a strong emphasis on preserving the emotional and mental well-being of cancer patients throughout the treatment process.
