She completed her MS (Master of Surgery) from University College of Medical Sciences & Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital, Delhi (2000), DNB (2001), and FRCS(Part1) from Glasgow, UK. Dr. Goel served as a Senior Resident at GTB Hospital, Delhi (2000-2003), received short-term Contact Lens training at Venu Eye Centre, Lasik training by Vision Eye Centre in Vadodara, Phaco training from I-Care Centre, and medical retina training at Shroff Charity Hospital, Daryaganj.
