Dr. Shuchi Verma

Dr. Shuchi Verma is a seasoned ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience in the field. She currently serves as the Principal Consultant in Ophthalmology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon. Dr. Verma holds an MBBS from NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur, and completed her MS in Ophthalmology from the Army Hospital (Research & Referral), New Delhi. She has also completed her senior residency at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, New Delhi, followed by fellowships in medical retina at Dr. Shroff Charity Eye Hospital and LASIK training from New Vision Centre, Mumbai. Her academic journey includes a stint as Assistant Professor at the Army College of Medical Sciences.

Her key areas of expertise include cataract surgery, spectacle removal surgeries, LASIK, and the treatment of medical retina disorders. With over 10,000 successful cataract surgeries to her name, she has earned a reputation for her precision and ethical medical practice. She has served in renowned institutions like Vasan Eye Care, Artemis Health Institute, Centre for Sight, and Indian Army hospitals, where she was honored for her contribution during Operation Parakram and Operation Vijay. Dr. Shuchi Verma is a life member of the All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS), Gurgaon Ophthalmological Society, Haryana Ophthalmological Society, and the Women Ophthalmological Society. She is also an ICMR Senior Research Fellow and has contributed to ophthalmological research and publications in reputed journals, presenting at numerous medical conferences across India
