Dr. Shaleen Agarwal is a highly experienced Liver Transplant and Gastrointestinal Surgeon currently serving as Principal Consultant & Chief of Liver Transplant & HPB Services at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. With over 20+ years of experience, including more than 15 years of practice in Delhi NCR, he specializes in living donor liver transplantation, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic surgery. His academic journey includes MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, followed by MCh in Gastrointestinal Surgery from SGPGIMS, Lucknow. He further advanced his expertise with a prestigious ASTS Clinical Fellowship in Solid Organ Transplantation from the University of Rochester, New York, USA, gaining valuable international exposure.

Dr. Agarwal is widely recognized for his expertise in complex liver transplant procedures, including robotic and laparoscopic donor surgeries, as well as advanced oncological surgeries for liver, bile duct, gall bladder, and pancreatic cancers. He has trained under internationally renowned experts and has actively contributed to training young surgeons in hepatobiliary and transplant surgery both in India and abroad. His clinical interests also include immunological and clinical aspects of liver and biliary cancers.
