Dr. Sanjeev Srivastava

Dr. Sanjeev Srivastava is a highly skilled neurosurgeon with over 23 years of experience, including five years as a specialist. He currently serves as a Senior Consultant in the Department of Neurosurgery at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram. His academic journey began with an MBBS from M.L.B. Medical College, Jhansi, in August 2001. He achieved an astounding 14 gold medals during his studies. Subsequently, he earned his DNB in General Surgery in 2006. He then joined Medanta, The Medicity, as a DNB trainee in Neurosurgery in January 2014. By December 2016, he had successfully cleared his DNB in Neurosurgery. He joined Artemis Hospital in February 2017 as an Associate Consultant. Currently, he is part of the Artemis Agrim Institute of Neurosciences, handling complex cranial and spinal cases. Moreover, he treats a significant number of international patients as well. Therefore, his clinical expertise and academic achievements are truly exceptional.

Additionally, Dr. Srivastava has a deep interest in Stereotactic, Functional Neurosurgery, and Neuromodulation. He underwent an advanced fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago under Dr. Konstantin Slavin in October-November 2018. His team regularly performs Deep Brain Stimulation, Epilepsy Surgery, and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. They also conduct Intrathecal Pump procedures and Stereotactic Radiosurgery. He has independently performed Spinal Cord Stimulation cases on two occasions. Furthermore, he wishes to develop a dedicated centre for Neuromodulation as a subspecialty in Neurosurgery.
