About Dr. Sanjay Khanna
Dr. Sanjay Khanna is a highly experienced gastroenterologist and hepatologist with more than 26 years of expertise in treating digestive, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders. Currently, he serves as Co-Chairman of the Manipal Institute of Gastroenterology, Hepato-Biliary and Pancreatic Sciences. He is widely known for his expertise in therapeutic endoscopy, hepatology, and advanced minimally invasive GI procedures. Over the years, he has worked with several reputed healthcare institutions across Delhi NCR. As a result, he has gained vast experience in managing complex gastrointestinal and liver-related diseases. Moreover, his patient-focused approach and clinical precision have earned him a strong reputation in the field of gastroenterology.
Dr. Khanna completed his MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from IGMC Shimla. Later, he pursued DNB in Gastroenterology from a reputed institution in Delhi. Furthermore, he received advanced training in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) in Denmark under Professor Peter Vilmann. He also trained in Third Space Endoscopy under Professor Hu Bing in China. His key areas of expertise include ERCP, EUS, therapeutic endoscopy, liver transplant hepatology, pancreaticobiliary disorders, POEM, ESD, and gastrointestinal cancer management. In addition, he actively contributes to DNB teaching programs, academic activities, medical conferences, and research work.
