About Dr. Sanjay Jain
Dr. Sanjay Jain is a highly experienced Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with over 31 years of clinical expertise. He holds prestigious degrees including MBBS and MD from MAMC, Delhi University, MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, UK, and FRCP from both London and Glasgow. Currently serving as Senior Consultant at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, Dr. Jain has worked in top hospitals across India, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. He has successfully managed over 32,000 gastroenterology patients and performed more than 1,500 diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures annually. His special interests include liver diseases, GI bleeding, acute pancreatitis, hepatitis, and complex endoscopy procedures like ERCP and Fibroscan. He also plays a key role in Apollo’s Liver Transplant Program.
Beyond clinical care, Dr. Jain is deeply involved in research and medical education. He has presented at international platforms such as the British Society of Gastroenterology and leads several national and global research studies. As a teacher, he has mentored DNB (Gastro) students for over 8 years and trained both Indian and international doctors.
