Dr. Sandeep Vaishya

Dr. Sandeep Vaishya is one of India’s most renowned neurosurgeons with over 35 years of clinical experience in complex brain and spine surgeries. He currently serves as the Director of Neurosurgery at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, and has held prestigious positions at AIIMS Delhi and Max Super Specialty Hospital. His key areas of expertise include brachial plexus surgery, deep brain stimulation, skull base surgery, gamma knife radiosurgery, and minimally invasive brain and spine surgery. Dr. Vaishya is known for his exceptional surgical precision and compassionate patient care.

Dr. Vaishya completed his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from G R Medical College, Gwalior, and earned his MCh (Neurosurgery) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He further advanced his skills with the prestigious Sundt Fellowship at Mayo Clinic, USA, where he trained in advanced neurosurgical techniques. He has also served as a professor of neurosurgery at AIIMS and is widely respected in academic and clinical circles. His successful surgery for hydrocephalus featured in the Netflix documentary “Rooting for Roona” brought international recognition to his work.
