Dr. Sahil Bagai

Dr. Sahil Bagai is the Senior Consultant and Unit Head of Nephrology at Fortis Hospital, Manesar, Gurgaon. He has over 10 years of experience in Nephrology and Renal Transplant Medicine. Moreover, he is widely recognized for his expertise in kidney transplantation, chronic kidney disease management, and advanced nephrology care.

He completed his MBBS and MD in General Medicine from prestigious medical colleges in Delhi. Later, he earned his DM in Nephrology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. In addition, he holds the Fellowship of the Indian College of Physicians (FICP). As a result, he has developed extensive expertise in managing complex kidney diseases and renal transplant patients.

Before joining Fortis Hospital, Manesar, Dr. Bagai worked at Medanta, Gurugram, and later served as Associate Consultant at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi, for nearly seven years. During his career, he has been involved in more than 2,000 kidney transplant procedures, including both ABO-compatible and ABO-incompatible renal transplants.

Furthermore, Dr. Bagai has made significant contributions to nephrology research and academics. He has published more than 32 peer-reviewed research articles in national and international journals and co-authored six chapters in nephrology textbooks.
