Dr. Sabhyata Gupta

Dr. Sabhyata Gupta is a renowned Gynaecologist and Gynae Oncologist currently serving as Chairperson at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram. With over 30 years of extensive experience, she is widely recognized for her expertise in advanced gynaecological oncology and minimally invasive surgical techniques. She completed her MBBS from Jammu Medical College and MD in Gynaecology from Government Medical College, Jammu. She has further enhanced her skills through international training in robotic gynaecological surgery in France, advanced endoscopic surgery in Germany, and ovarian transplantation under Prof. Dror Meirow in Israel. Additionally, she has received specialized training in cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals, UK, and completed observership training in gynaecological oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.

Dr. Gupta is a pioneer in her field and is the first gynaecologist in India to perform robotic surgery for both cancerous and non-cancerous gynaecological conditions. Her expertise includes gynae oncology, robotic and laparoscopic surgeries, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, and aesthetic gynaecology. She has played a significant role in training numerous gynecologists in advanced surgical techniques and is actively involved in postgraduate teaching through the DNB Gynae Oncology program. She is a member of several prestigious international and national medical societies and has received multiple awards, including the Arch of Excellence Award.
