Dr. Rupinder Sekhon is a leading gynecologic oncologist in India, specializing in ovarian cancer, cytoreductive surgery, and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) for recurrent ovarian cancer. With an illustrious career spanning several decades, she has performed numerous surgeries in cervical and endometrial cancer. Dr. Sekhon has significantly contributed to developing state-of-the-art gynecologic oncology departments in the country, including advanced techniques like colposcopy, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and robotic surgeries. Certified as a Robotic Console Surgeon since 2011, she has successfully conducted many robotic surgeries for various gynecologic cancers. Dr. Sekhon has also served as a Classified Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology in the Indian Air Force for over 16 years, reflecting her dedication and expertise in the field. Her accolades include being the first in North India to perform Peritonectomy and HIPEC in ovarian cancer and receiving numerous awards for her professional excellence.
