Dr. Rashmi Pyasi

Dr. Rashmi Pyasi is a highly experienced and renowned surgeon with over 26 years of expertise in General, GI, Laparoscopic, and Bariatric surgery. Currently serving as Director of GI, Minimal Access & Bariatric Surgery at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, she has performed more than 1600 Minimally Invasive Procedure for Hemorrhoids (MIPH), showcasing her leadership in the field of coloproctology. Dr. Pyasi is especially recognized for her skill in single-incision laparoscopic gallbladder surgeries and female surgical disorder treatments. Her work spans across prestigious institutions like Max Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, CARE Hospital, and the Indian Navy, where she served as Surg Lt Commander.

She holds her MBBS and MS (General Surgery) degrees from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, and has undertaken specialized training in laparoscopic surgery from the Ethicon Institute in Mumbai. She is a Fellow of the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (FIAGES), Association of Surgeons of India (FAIS), and has completed FALS (Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery) in Hernia and Colorectal Surgery.
