Dr. Ramesh Sarin is a Senior Consultant in Surgical Oncology at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Sarita Vihar, with over three decades of experience. He served as Assistant Professor of Surgery at AIIMS from January 1975 to December 1982 and as Associate Professor until 1986. Dr. Sarin then led the Surgical Oncology department at Mafrao Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE, contributing to the establishment of a cancer center. As a founder member of the Indian Society of Oncology (ISO), he has significantly impacted oncology in India. Dr. Sarin is passionate about breast cancer awareness, chairs the NGO “Forum for Breast Protection,” and has produced educational materials to promote breast cancer awareness.
