Dr. Rajneesh Malhotra is a highly accomplished cardiac surgeon with over 34 years of extensive experience in the field. He currently serves as the Chairman & Head of CTVS at Max Hospital, Saket. His medical journey began with an MBBS and MS in General Surgery from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow. Subsequently, he earned his MCh from the Institute of Cardiology, G.S.V.M. Medical College, Kanpur. Fellowships in cardiac surgery were completed at University Hospital, Uppsala, Sweden, and Medtronic Inc., Minneapolis, USA. Furthermore, he received training in Da Vinci Robotic Cardiac Surgery from Ohio State University, USA. Advanced training in Port Access Cardiac Surgery was also undertaken at Heart Port Training Institute, Salt Lake City, Utah. Therefore, his training and credentials are truly world-class.

Additionally, Dr. Malhotra has nearly 30 years of experience in cardiac surgery. He has worked as Director of Cardiac Surgery at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurgaon. Senior Consultant at Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre, Delhi, was another position he held. Chief Consultant at Durdons Heart Surgical Centre, Colombo, Sri Lanka, was also part of his distinguished career. Moreover, he specializes in Heart Failure Surgery, ECMO, LVAD, and Heart Transplant. Robotic Cardiac Surgery and Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery are also performed by him. These include MICS CABG, Mitral Valve Repair, Aortic Valve Repair, and ASD closure.
