She completed her MBBS from Govt Medical College, Miraj in 1999, followed by an MS in General Surgery from Govt Medical College, Patiala in 2002. Additionally, she earned a Fellowship in Breast Surgery from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in 2009.
