Dr. Rajesh Kumar Padhan

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Padhan is a highly experienced gastroenterologist and hepatologist with over 17 years of clinical practice. He currently serves as the Chief of Academic and Training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram. He completed his MBBS and MD in Medicine from SCB Medical College, Cuttack. Subsequently, he earned his DM in Gastroenterology from AIIMS, New Delhi. He also holds a Fellowship in Transplant Hepatology. Moreover, he is a DHA-licensed consultant gastroenterology from Dubai. His expertise covers a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. He specializes in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and pancreatic disorders. He also manages small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) and pelvic floor dyssynergia. Therefore, he is a trusted name in gastroenterology across the Delhi NCR region.

Additionally, Dr. Padhan was actively involved in IBD and pancreas clinics at AIIMS, New Delhi. There, he gained extensive experience in managing complex cases. He has worked at several reputed institutions across India. These include IMS and SUM Hospital, Jaypee Hospital, W Pratiksha Hospital, and Marengo Asia Hospital. He served as an Assistant Professor at IMS and SUM Hospital. During his tenure at Jaypee Hospital, he worked closely with the liver transplant team. He contributed significantly to pre- and post-transplant care, including post-transplant ERCP procedures. Furthermore, he played a key role in establishing centres of excellence and advanced endoscopy suites. Meanwhile, he remains deeply committed to medical education and mentoring.
