About: Dr. Punit Singla
Dr. Punit Singla is a highly skilled HPB (Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary) surgeon with extensive experience in liver transplantation. He has successfully performed over 1500 liver transplants, including complex cases such as pediatric transplants with reduced grafts, living donor transplants with IVC replacement, and ABO incompatible liver transplants. Dr. Singla served as Associate Consultant at Medanta – the Medicity, focusing on liver transplantation and regenerative medicine. In 2014, he established the liver transplant program at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram.
He has also practiced HPB surgery and conducted transplants at Jaypee Hospital, Noida, and contributed to various renowned hospitals in North India. Dr. Singla significantly strengthened the liver transplant team at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, where he established the first independent living donor liver transplant program in Punjab.
