Dr. Puneet Ahluwalia

Dr. Puneet Ahluwalia is Senior Director & Head of Uro Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Medanta, Gurugram. He is a highly experienced urologist with around 20 years of expertise in urological cancers and robotic surgery. Moreover, he is widely known for advanced minimally invasive cancer treatment using robotic techniques. He completed MBBS, MS in General Surgery, and MCh in Urology. In addition, he received Fellowship in Robotic Urology and advanced training from the University of Miami, USA. He is also a certified proctor for Da Vinci robotic systems in India. Therefore, he has played a major role in developing robotic surgery programs and training surgeons across the country.

Dr. Ahluwalia has performed more than 1000 robotic surgeries, including prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer procedures. Furthermore, he has extensive experience in robotic prostatectomy, cystectomy, partial nephrectomy, adrenal surgery, and lymph node dissections. He previously served as Director of Urologic Oncology and Robotics at Max Healthcare, New Delhi. In addition, he is associated with international uro-oncology groups and contributes to academic training and research. With strong national and international exposure, he is regarded as a leading expert in robotic urology.
