Dr. Puneet Agarwal

Dr. Puneet Agarwal is a highly accomplished neurologist with over 26 years of extensive experience. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of Neurology at Max Hospital, Saket. His medical journey began with an MBBS from King George Medical University, Lucknow. Subsequently, he earned his DM in Neurology from G.B. Pant Hospital, Delhi, securing first rank. A Fellowship in Critical Care Neurology and Stroke was completed at UCLA, Los Angeles. Training at Sentara Hospital, Virginia, USA, was also undertaken by him. Furthermore, Training Fellowships in Sonothrombolysis, TCD, and Carotid Doppler were pursued at National University Hospital, Singapore. Additional training in DBS, Parkinson’s Disease, and Botulinum toxin injections was received in Spain and Amsterdam. Therefore, his training and credentials are truly world-class.

Additionally, Dr. Agarwal was among the first doctors to perform Inflammatory Genes studies in stroke patients. IV Valproate use in status epilepticus was also pioneered by him.
