Dr. Pravas Chandra Mishra

Dr. Pravas Chandra Mishra is a highly accomplished Hematologist and Hemato-Oncologist, currently serving as Program Head at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. With over 17 years of experience post DM, he specializes in myeloid cancers, bone marrow transplantation, cellular therapy, and complex blood disorders in both adults and children. He completed his MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram, followed by DM in Clinical Hematology from the prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi. He further enhanced his expertise through international fellowships and observerships at renowned institutions including King’s College London, Hammersmith Hospital London, Westmead Hospital Sydney, and City of Hope Hospital, USA.

Dr. Mishra has had an illustrious academic and clinical career, having served as Professor of Hematology at AIIMS, New Delhi until 2017. He later established a state-of-the-art Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit at Max Super Speciality Hospital, where he successfully performed complex stem cell transplants including matched unrelated and haploidentical transplants. He has authored over 100 publications and multiple book chapters in reputed national and international journals. His expertise includes managing hematological malignancies, bone marrow failure syndromes, hemoglobinopathies, coagulation disorders, and plasma cell dyscrasias. Known for his research-driven and patient-centric approach, he is committed to advancing hematology care and improving outcomes through innovative therapies and precision medicine.
