About Dr. Prasun Ghosh
Dr. Prasun Ghosh is a highly experienced urologist with over 32 years of expertise in urology, uro-oncology, and renal transplantation. He currently serves as Senior Director – Urology, Robotics, and Renal Transplant at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation in managing complex urological cancers, especially those involving the kidney, bladder, and prostate. Moreover, he is recognized as a pioneer in robotic and laparoscopic urological surgeries in India. He has worked closely with leading international robotic surgeons since 2006. His efforts have significantly contributed to the development of robotic surgery programs in private hospitals. In addition, he played a key role in establishing and advancing the robotic surgery and kidney transplant program at Medanta.
Furthermore, Dr. Ghosh is known for his expertise in renal transplantation and minimally invasive techniques. He was among the first surgeons to perform robotic renal transplant recipient surgery in this region. This achievement marked an important advancement in transplant surgery.
