His clinical interests lie in interventional pulmonology, intensive care, and sleep medicine. He has also received specialized training in thoracoscopy (France), pediatric bronchoscopy (Italy), and ICU care (Australia). Dr. Saxena is known for his leadership in implementing hospital-wide protocols that have successfully reduced infection rates and improved critical care delivery systems.
In addition to his hospital-based work, Dr. Saxena is actively involved in teaching and mentoring. He is an examiner, teacher, and supervisor for MRCP (UK) and a teacher for the Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM). He frequently organizes workshops, CMEs, and community health awareness programs in India and abroad.
