Dr. Prashant Mehta

Dr. Prashant Mehta is a highly accomplished Medical Oncologist and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Specialist, currently serving as Program Head at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. With over 14 years of medical experience, he specializes in lymphoid leukemias, lymphomas, bone marrow transplantation, CAR-T cell therapy, and comprehensive cancer care. He completed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, followed by MD in Medicine from Lady Hardinge Medical College, and DM in Medical Oncology from the prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi. He further pursued a Visiting Physician Fellowship in BMT and Cellular Therapy from the renowned Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle, USA.

Dr. Mehta has played a pioneering role in advancing cancer treatment, including performing the first bone marrow transplant, first total body irradiation-based transplant, and first matched unrelated donor (MUD) transplant in the Faridabad region. His expertise includes managing acute leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and complex cancers using precision oncology, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies. He has been the Principal Investigator in over 20 clinical trials and has authored more than 60 publications in national and international journals. As a leader in cellular therapy programs, he is actively working to make CAR-T therapy accessible in India. Known for his compassionate and patient-centric approach, he focuses on improving both survival outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients.
