Dr. Prasan Deep Rath

Dr. Prasan Deep Rath is a highly accomplished rheumatologist with over 23 years of extensive experience in the field. He currently serves as the Senior Director & Head of Rheumatology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket. His medical journey began with an MBBS from SCB Medical College, Utkal University, Orissa. He then earned his MD in Internal Medicine from the same institution. Subsequently, he completed a Fellowship in Rheumatology at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. He also holds prestigious fellowships including FACR, FRCP Glasgow, and FRCP Edinburgh. Furthermore, he has completed advanced training in Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography and Paediatric Rheumatology. Therefore, his training and credentials are truly world-class.

Additionally, Dr. Rath has been a Senior Consultant at Max Hospital, Saket, since 2005. He has served as Associate Director and Head of Rheumatology at the same institution. He is also a Visiting Faculty at KIMS, Hyderabad. Moreover, he has been a National Faculty at SGPGI, Lucknow, KIMS, Hyderabad, and CMC, Vellore. International Conferences including MUSoc and MUSK have also invited him as Faculty. Directorship of the Rheumatology Fellowship Training Programme at Max Hospital, Saket, is another of his responsibilities. He has also served as a Co-Guide for three DNB students’ theses.
