Dr. Pankaj Dougall

Dr. Pankaj Dougall is a highly accomplished nuclear medicine physician with over 39 years of extensive experience. He currently serves as the Principal Director & Head of Nuclear Medicine at Max Hospital, Saket. His medical journey began with an MBBS from M.A.M.C, Delhi University. Subsequently, he earned his DRM from RMC, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai University. He also pursued an AHMP (MBA) from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad/Mohali. Furthermore, he is an Hon Fellow of the Indian College of Nuclear Medicine. An Hon D.Sc. from Amity University, U.P., is also held by him.

He has worked at prestigious institutions including Tata Memorial Hospital, Jaslok Hospital, and Sitaram Bhartia Institute. Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, has been his workplace since 2005. Over 30 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine – Imaging & Therapy is credited to his name. Therefore, his training and credentials are truly world-class.

Additionally, Dr. Dougall is a designated IAEA/UN expert for Nuclear Medicine. Teaching and training Nuclear Medicine Physicians in several countries has been done by him for over 12 years. Past President of the Association of Nuclear Medicine Physicians – India is one of his notable roles. He is also a Founder Governing Council Member & Treasurer of WARMTH. President of the Society of Nuclear Medicine – Northern Chapter is another position held by him. The Chairman’s Award from Max India Ltd in 2009 was received by him. A Certificate of Achievement from NABH has also been awarded to him.

He specializes in Molecular Imaging, Molecular Therapy, and treatment of Thyroid cancer, neuroendocrine, and prostate cancer with radioisotopes. He is a member of several prestigious organizations including SNMI, ANMPI, NCSI, ITA, and WARMTH. Consequently, he is a globally recognized and trusted name in nuclear medicine.
