Dr. Neeraj Sanduja

Dr. Neeraj Sanduja is the Founder and Director of Viaan Eye Centre & Retina and a highly respected name in Ophthalmology, with over 26 years of clinical experience. A pioneer in Retina and Cataract Surgery in Delhi NCR, he has successfully performed more than 20,000 surgeries, specializing in complex cataract, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, uveitis, ocular trauma, macular holes, and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). He completed his MBBS and MS in Ophthalmology from PGIMS, Rohtak, followed by a Fellowship in Vitreo Retina from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. Dr. Sanduja further trained in Pediatric Retina and ROP at William Beaumont Hospital, USA, and was awarded the prestigious FRCS from Glasgow, UK.

Dr. Sanduja is deeply involved in research and academics, with over 150 presentations as Guest Faculty and Chief Instructor in national and international conferences. His work is widely published in reputed peer-reviewed journals, and he has authored twelve chapters in key textbooks on Vitreo Retina. He has also been awarded FAICO (Retina) and FICO (UK) credentials for his excellence. His focus on innovation and commitment to high-quality eye care has earned him recognition as a leading figure in ophthalmology education and research.

His distinguished contributions have been recognized through numerous honors, including the “Best Ophthalmologist Award in Delhi NCR” by both the Indian Medical Association and Times of India, the “Global Quality Award” by Times Global, and the “Legend in Ophthalmology” title for his service excellence.
