Dr. Narinder Kumar Magu

Dr. Narinder Kumar Magu is a Senior Consultant in Orthopaedics at Fortis Hospital, Manesar, Gurgaon. He has over 41 years of experience in orthopaedic surgery and is internationally recognized for his expertise in complex hip and pelvic disorders. Moreover, he is regarded as a pioneer in hip preservation surgery for both adults and children.

He completed his MBBS, MS (Orthopaedics), and FAMS. Throughout his career, he has developed innovative surgical techniques for managing pelvic fractures, hip disorders, and complex orthopaedic conditions. As a result, his reconstruction methods are practiced by orthopaedic surgeons worldwide.

Dr. Magu specializes in hip preservation surgery, pelvic and acetabular fracture reconstruction, paediatric orthopaedics, orthopaedic oncology, and joint reconstruction. In addition, he has made significant contributions to the treatment of non-union hip fractures, Perthes disease, developmental hip disorders, metabolic bone diseases, and tumour-like lesions of the hip. His expertise also extends to deformity correction and limb-length restoration in both children and adults.

Furthermore, he has contributed extensively to research, innovation, and medical education.
