Dr. Naman Wahal

Dr. Naman Wahal is an AIIMS-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 12 years of surgical experience and more than 10,000 procedures. He currently serves as a Senior Consultant in Orthopaedics at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Okhla. A graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, he completed his MS in Orthopaedics from AIIMS, New Delhi. He also completed international fellowships in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at ATOS Klinik, Munich, Germany, a Joint Replacement Research fellowship at Oxford University, and an Advanced Trauma Surgery fellowship at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hong Kong. Therefore, his training and credentials are truly world-class.

His areas of expertise include shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, and shoulder instability procedures. He also performs acromioclavicular joint reconstruction and multi-ligament knee reconstruction. Additionally, he performs ACL repair, joint replacement, deformity correction, and revision procedures. An International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) Certified Bone Health Expert, he actively promotes preventive orthopaedics and bone-strengthening programs. He is a regular faculty at ISAKOS, ESSKA, and other national and international orthopaedic conferences. He has also contributed book chapters and peer-reviewed publications. Ongoing research in Frozen Shoulder and bone-preserving arthroplasty is also being conducted by him. Consequently, he is a trusted and respected name in orthopaedics.
